What is Google Caffiene

Google Caffiene is a major change to the underlying infrastructure that powers the Google Search Engine and other Google services such as Google Docs, Google Mail etc. The changes associated with Google Caffiene amount to a complete change of file system. Just like Microsoft did a fair few years back when they went from FAT32 to NTFS Google are doing the same. As you can imagine search engines such as Google, Yahoo and Bing catologue and indexed a huge amount of data and this change involves changing this back end to be able to manage even more data more easily.

Changes to Google’s Algroithm

There are various claims that the changes will not affect the search engines in any way but if you read between the lines there seem to be a few changes that may affect things. With this more powerful file system comes better indexing of written copy.
